How Small Actions Can Drive Change


Miwa Sasaki has seen first-hand the impact that small actions can make. Deeply influenced by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, Miwa began volunteering in the recovery efforts after finishing her undergraduate degree. Her experiences strengthened her passion for volunteer work and led to a PhD in Human Science with a focus on charitable activities. Currently, as the Director of the Kayoko Fund, Miwa is actively engaged in supporting orphans, widows, the isolated elderly, and refugees in areas hit by war and natural disasters.


This month, broaden your perspective on the impact we can have as individuals as Miwa Sasaki shares her experience volunteering in areas of great need.
